the imposters

in the early 1960's, two men were doing something so fresh and funny that it makes me laugh out loud even today. setting out to do "street pranks", mal sharpe & jim coyle hit the streets of san francisco for some on-the-street interviews for a local radio station. what seems now days like a very unfunny and played out thing to do works perfectly for coyle & sharpe. these are real interviews with real people on the streets back before anyone expected these kinds of jokes. they have a great improve ability that reminds me of christopher guest and company at times.

enjoy this famous one known as "the druggist"

am i just old fashioned, or is that funny?
wait.... don't tell me.
